Train Bell Resort is a year-round family resort where everyone has a great time!  Over 100 years ago, in 1908, George and Marie Russell realized travelers needed lodging near a train stop known as Cameron Station in Merrifield, MN.  What began as a vision to host railway travelers in a hotel turned into the lake vacation retreat today known as Train Bell Resort.

Though gone are the days of trains that made frequent rest stops at Train Bell Resort, the popular tranquil railroad rest, it will still remind you a bit of the Shady Rest. Nestled amongst the pine trees on the shores of the beautiful North Long Lake, all that remains of this historical stop is the newly remodeled Grand Lodge and the train bell for which the resort was named.
