Train Bell has planned activities for the entire family. At Train Bell throughout our Theme Weeks we have special events including a Kid's Carnivals with plenty of clowning around; Hawaiian Luau's with bonfires on the beach; Christmas with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Elves; Wacky Sporting Events for everyone in the family; Medallion Hunts; Halloween Fun with Trick or Treating; Wild, Wild West week with lots of rodeo fun with Hank and his horse Harley; a Fear Factor Challenge which will test your limits; Pirate Adventures and Treasure Hunts with Billy Bob Jack and Mary Jane Hagley and their gang; be bopping with Elvis and his friends during Good Old Rock 'n' Roll Week; Piñata fun and a Taco feed during Mexican Fiesta week and a whole lot more!  You can count on a good time at Train Bell.  You will never know what might happen next!

We also have Daily Activities such as the Penny Hunt, Coloring and Trivia Contests and Movies, which are shown throughout the week on the big screen in the Movie Center. Our guests love hopping and bopping to the music at our Weekly Dances and they enjoy our "All You Can Eat" Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Sunday Morning. The competition gets pretty intense at the weekly Minnow Races. Tuesday nights Bingo gets everyone excited and the Chicken  Toss with "Charlie the Chicken" is sure to get you clucking. Bring a blanket and enjoy a movie "Under the Stars" at our new outdoor movie theater.  

Take a ride on Train Bell's very own train, the "Train Bell Express". This is sure to create family memories. As the train pulls out the train bell rings, whistles blow and smoke rolls out of the stack. The 33' Locomotive provides enjoyment for the entire family. 

Your entire family will enjoy the long gradual sandy beach. You can wade in the crystal water or just place a lawn chair by the waters edge and feel the sand between your toes.  If you feel like working up a sweat, try a game of sand volleyball or a game of horseshoes. Or jump in the water and play a game water volleyball, baseball or basketball. Try out our new "Snakes & Ladders" Golf Toss or a game of Texas Horseshoes. Explore the lake on a pontoon, or take a relaxing paddleboat ride with your best friend.  Enjoy the quiet relaxation of Train Bell Resort, for you have earned it.

A Minnesota fishing adventure awaits you right outside your door.  A variety of fish species make their home in North Long Lake.  The 6,000 acres of water allows both fisherman and skiers a different view each time they go out. Bring your own boat or rent one from us.  

The lake is known for its walleye and northern fishing.  It also has an abundant amount of small and large mouth bass, crappies, sunfish and perch.  There is a great concrete boat launching ramp just a block north of the resort.  We have convenient boat trailer parking  on the resort.  Local Guide Service is also available.

Whether you like early Spring, Summer or Fall or Winter fishing, North Long Lake is sure to fill your stringer year-round!  All you need is a line and some bait!

*All customer boats must be on a boat lift. No boats are allowed to be tied to the dock at anytime. Boat lifts are limited, please reserve in advance. All rates are subject to Gas usage and Minnesota Sales Tax of 6.5%
