Train Bell has planned activities for the entire family.  No matter what age you are, everyone can get involved in the activities and the fun.

Throughout the summer at Train Bell you can enjoy a train ride on the "Train Bell Express", search for pennies hidden on the beach at our weekly Penny Hunt, watch a movie on the big screen with a delicious bag of fresh popcorn in our Movie Center, demonstrate your talent and creativity on our Coloring Contests, or test your families knowledge with the Trivia Contest.  The weekly Fishing Contest is a chance for everyone to show off their fishing skills.  A guest favorite is our energy-filled dance.  Our guests love hopping and bopping to the music at our Weekly Dances where there are many prizes to win. 

The competition gets pretty intense at the weekly Minnow Races.  You never know what those minnows are going to do.  There is big money to be won at our exciting Bingo Night.  Everyone loves Train Bell's very own "Charlie the Chicken".  Charlie entertains our guests with a challenging Chicken Toss.  He'll have you clucking!!!  Our "Get Your Game On" activity will get your heart pumping as you never know what you might be doing!  Our Live Entertainment provided by top talents gives your family time to sit back and relax.  Every week we have Giveaways for children and adults and everyone enjoys mingling with each other over a refreshing bowl of ice cream at our Ice Cream Social.

Take a ride on Train Bell's very own train, the "Train Bell Express".  This is sure to create family memories.  As the train pulls out the train bell rings, whistles blow and smoke rolls out of the stack.  The 33' Locomotive provides enjoyment for the entire family. 

Your entire family will enjoy the long gradual sandy beach.  You can wade in the crystal water or just place a lawn chair by the waters edge and feel the sand between your toes.  If you feel like working up a sweat, try a game of sand volleyball or a game of horseshoes.  Or jump in the water and play a game water volleyball, baseball or basketball.

Our Recreation Center  is available for Train Bell guests to enjoy.  The Recreation Center is filled with fun and entertainment for everyone and is a great place to meet new friends.  You will find electronic games, pool table, child's activity area, board games, puzzles, a library full of books and much, much more. 

 We are located right on the Paul Bunyan Paved Recreational Trail.  You and your family can hike, bike, roller blade, ski or snowmobile.  The Paul Bunyan Trail is a 100-mile gateway to twelve communities stretching from Brainerd to Bemidji, Minnesota.

In the evenings, your family can enjoy a peaceful lakeside campfire complete with s'mores, while watching the moonlight bounce off the gently rolling lake waves.  Here at Train Bell Resort we help your family make memories that will last a lifetime.

A Minnesota fishing adventure awaits you right outside your door.  A variety of fish species make their home in North Long Lake.  The 6,000 acres of water allows both fisherman and skiers a different view each time they go out. Bring your own boat or rent one from us.  

The lake is known for its walleye and northern fishing.  It also has an abundant amount of small and large mouth bass, crappies, sunfish and perch.  There is a great concrete boat launching ramp just a block north of the resort.  We have convenient boat trailer parking  on the resort.  Local Guide Service is also available.

Whether you like early Spring, Summer or Fall or Winter fishing, North Long Lake is sure to fill your stringer year-round!  All you need is a line and some bait!
